The primary objective of the Senior NOC Engineer is to ensure the stability, efficiency, and reliability of the company’s network and communication systems through continuous monitoring, rapid analysis of any faults or threats, and implementing corrective actions proactively to prevent business disruptions.
Responsibilities

Continuously monitor network performance, servers, and infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability

Quickly diagnose and resolve complex network problems to minimize downtime and service disruption

handle escalation of critical network incidents, provide immediate solutions, and coordinate with other departments as needed

Identify performance bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to enhance network efficiency
- Monitor network security, detect potential threats, and implement preventive measures in coordination with the cybersecurity team

Maintain accurate logs of network performance, incidents, resolutions, and prepare periodic reports for management
Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network management or NOC operations, with preferred leadership experience

Deep knowledge of network systems, TCP/IP protocols, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN
-
Ability to analyze complex network issues and resolve problems quickly and effectively

Ability to manage a team, assign tasks, and supervise team performance
Nice to have

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or any advanced network/infrastructure certification

Experience managing cloud networks such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Knowledge of network automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting
