We are looking for a skilled and motivated ODN Team Leader to supervise and coordinate field operations within the ODN department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and drivers, ensuring efficient execution of fiber optic installation and maintenance activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in ODN networks, and the ability to manage daily operations while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead ODN field teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Plan and distribute work tasks among technicians and drivers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure all ODN activities comply with technical standards and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot field issues and provide on-site technical support when needed.
- Coordinate with other departments (planning, maintenance, and operations).
- Track team performance and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Manage resources, tools, and materials efficiently to avoid delays or shortages.
- Ensure high-quality installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks.
- Support team members with training and technical guidance when required.
Must Have
- Must have proven experience in ODN or fiber optic field operations.
- Must have prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Must have strong knowledge of fiber optic installation, splicing, and maintenance.
- Must have the ability to lead, manage, and motivate field teams effectively.
- Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in the field.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be fully committed and able to work full-time in field conditions.
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a telecom or FTTH (Fiber to the Home) project environment.
- Strong background in field operations coordination and team management.
- Familiarity with ODN network design, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of GIS or network mapping tools.
- Experience in reporting systems and work order management applications.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
